Wanted to send a quick note to express our complete happiness with our pool. Scott did an unbelievable job... first supporting and assisting us in a huge commitment and decision process... and also in his presence and attention to all the details of the project from start to finish! Well, here we are nearly a year later... and we LOVE our pool! We use it daily and it is a really beautiful focal point to our backyard. It has been surprisingly easy to maintain... crystal clear since the day after it was opened. All we do is add chlorine tabs every 7-10 days and throw in some PH up in once in a while. We don't even have to vacuum very often ( spring helicopters and cotton falling are a different story... but we certainly didn't mind a 20 minute vacuum task before jumping in!)

When we built out new home we made a decision to have another in ground pool built by Anchor Pools & Spas. We were very pleased with our previous in ground pool with the vinyl liner still in good condition , 12 years later! We enjoyed the beauty and refreshing qualities of our pool as a focal point of the backyard. Mike and his crew helped design our new pool as well as the placement and landscape possibilities. When another contractor was slow in doing his part, Mike showed patience and resolve to work things out to accommodate our needs and wishes. I am on my second Anchor Pool. The bottom line is they have always taken care of us. Even when I am not happy with something, they work with us to make it right. They are no-nonsence and will tell you the way it is, but I look at that as a good thing. They have never taken advantage of me. I am local, which makes it even better. They opened my pool yesterday (April 8) and the two gentlemen that did it were so polite and courteous. They properly prepared the winter items for storage and just had basic good manners. I truly would have no one else put in a pool for me. A final note.... the pool is beautiful.

I doubt you will recall my pool immediately (dated 7/2/84). It was for the purchase, labor, and materials for the installation of an 18x36 rectangle in-ground pool. At the time we committed to proceed with the above purchase, we were operating under the assumption that we would not receive the full value when it came time to sell our house. We were informed by those "in the know" that it would impede our ability to sell the property as it would appeal to a very limited market. We are pleased to report that "they" were wrong! We recently sold our house after 31 days on the market. Not only did we receive a good offer, but the pool was the deciding factor with the buyers. We believe it was the beauty of the pool, the quality installation done by Anchor Pools, and the landscaping which turned the trick. Our only regret is that Anchor Pools does not operate in our new location.
